Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a solar light tower that allows operators to deploy 400 watts of LED light and security cameras to elevations up to 30 feet. This tower offers 360˚of rotation and comes with a 4kW backup diesel generator. This unit features two 265-watt solar panels and a 200-amp capacity battery bank.
The SPLT-.53K-LM30-4X60LTL-ISDG-AT.DNS-TLR14-2XPTZ-W4G solar light tower features two 265-watt solar panels generating a total of 0.53 KW and are wired to a solar charger control box. The panels are mounted to a frame that is angled at 45˚ for optimal sunlight intake. A backup 4kW generator is included and comes with a 20-gallon diesel fuel tank. This unit comes with a manual crank mast mounted on a 14-foot trailer with outriggers.
Larson Electronics’ solar light tower comes with four LED lamps and an auto timer/sensor and two IP security cameras supported by an 8-channel NVR with router/4G network capabilities. This solar tower system delivers 24V for lighting and can be elevated to 30 feet and collapsed to 13.5 feet. This tower is made of square steel tubing and extends to full height using an included 1,000lb-rated hand winch with 3/16” galvanized steel cable. All electrical equipment is housed in a NEMA 3R job box bolted to the trailer.
The light tower comes with four high output LED light fixtures with each lamp producing 8,100 lumens of light while drawing only 100 watts at 1.7 amps from a 24V electrical system. This system features six Cree LEDs that produce 1,350 lumens each and are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a 24˚ wide spot beam. This unit can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40˚C to 80˚C and features housings made of die-cast aluminum. The lights are operated via a 3-way switch.
This unit features two security cameras that are 1080p and produce full HD high resolution images. These cameras feature a 4.7-94mm varifocal lens that automatically adjusts to focus and provides operators with a 20x optical zoom. Integrated long-range infrared LEDs with 850nm allow for these night/day cameras to see distances up to 492 feet under nighttime conditions. These cameras are IP66 rated and can operate in temperatures between -22˚C and 149˚C.
