Tortoise today announced two new additions to its leadership team.
Mr. Dan Bentzinger is a Managing Director and the firm’s Chief Information Officer. His broad technology and leadership experience extends over multiple industries and across a variety of companies facing challenging growth and maturity cycles. He most recently served as chief information officer at CommunityAmerica Credit Union where he oversaw the design and construction of several large-scale projects to modernize the organization. He has also held technology leadership positions with MIQ Logistics, Kansas City Southern Railway, Yellow Freight Systems and Andersen Consulting. Mr. Bentzinger graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas. He serves on the KC Tech Council board of directors, which is focused on elevating Kansas City’s technology industry.
Ms. Mary Meacham is a Managing Director and the firm’s Chief People Officer. In her role, she aligns Tortoise’s human resources strategy with business objectives, focuses on organizational effectiveness, meets regulatory requirements and supports its high-performance culture. She has more than 20 years of human resources experience in financial services, healthcare and retail. Her background includes human resources leadership positions at DST Systems, Inc. and Mercantile Stores West. Ms. Meacham earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and earned the HR Certification Institute’s Professional in Human Resources PHR® certification. Ms. Meacham is a graduate of the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City’s leadership program, Kansas City Tomorrow, which focuses on civic engagement in the Kansas City region. She previously served on the Kansas City Tomorrow Alumni Board of Directors.
