Lendistry VP and Veteran Benjamin Kimsey Makes a Miraculous Comeback

LOS ANGELES - November 19, 2019 - (Newswire.com)

The Lendistry team is thrilled to announce the return of team member Benjamin Kimsey, who almost lost his life this time last year. U.S. Army veteran and Lendistry’s Vice President of Business Development, Benjamin Kimsey, was walking his dog when a hit-and-run driver changed his life in seconds. While he is grateful his canine companion, Mr. Maverick, was unhurt, Ben’s injuries were traumatic, putting him in a month-long coma and setting him on his 14-month path to healing and recovery.

At Lendistry, Ben strengthens the company’s relationships with banks and non-bank lenders. His work is essential to making sure Lendistry can offer a wide variety of products to small business owners. Ben is also Lendistry’s resident expert on SBA resources, helping the sales team and the company’s clients get the most out of what the Small Business Administration offers.

A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, Ben served his country in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. In his years of service, he deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom first in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and again in Afghanistan. With the focus and fortitude inherent in military veterans, it’s no surprise to his co-workers that Kimsey has come back from his accident ready to hit the ground running.

Lendistry CEO Everett Sands expresses the whole team’s joy at seeing Ben back and well again, “Ben represents the same resiliency we see in our small business owners. We welcome him back as a team member, as one of the military veterans on our team and as part of our family.”

This accident could have been as financially catastrophic as it was physically, but Lendistry stood by Ben, keeping him on the team and on the company’s insurance so he could return to work when he was ready. Kimsey says, “My true many thanks to the leadership, fellow professionals and all of your support, prayers, and love. I very much look forward to continuing to serve our country and communities.”

Lendistry wishes Ben a warm welcome home.
