Hometown Girl Amy Jordan Film Documentary To Be Feature At The Lake Worth Playhouse

'Amy's Victory Dance', an Internationally acclaimed multi-award-winning documentary feature film will screen as part of The Lake Worth Playhouse L-DUB Film Festival in Lake Worth, Florida.

Amy Jordan was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, a graduate of Palm Beach Gardens High School class of 1987. She moved to New York City and then to Los Angeles in pursuit of a professional dance career that took some winding turns. In 2018 Ms. Jordan returned home to West Palm Beach where she now lives with her cat Sadie.

This documentary feature tells the story of how Amy Jordan turned her trauma into triumph after having her leg crushed by a 15-ton New York City express bus amid her successful dance career.

This film captures the essence of who Amy Jordan is and the hard road which led her to where she is today. From the moment she realized she was going to survive this tragic accident she was determined to fight for her victory dance. Amy's amazing resilience and positive attitude in life led her on a bold life-changing path that has inspired so many others.

Since the release of her documentary, it has been featured in several exclusive film festivals:
21 Wins, 6 Official Selection, TOTAL of 27 laurels, 15 cities, and 10 countries.

Amy's Victory Dance was the winner of Best Film on Disability Issue Category and Outstanding Achievement Award- Documentary Films Category for the Druk International Film Festival as well as the Tagore International Film Festival. As the winner of both categories for May 2020, Amy's Victory Dance will be automatically nominated for two other prestigious awards at the end of the year.
