John Moore Sr., who blazed trail for advancing equity in Dayton, has died

Moore blazed trails for others by becoming the first Equal Employment Opportunity officer at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 1960, and later as the first African-American chief of civilian personnel in 1972.
