Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share sponsors major motion picture “Big George Foreman” in theaters across the U.S.

MELBOURNE, Fla. —, Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share, the nation’s leading health care sharing ministry, has sponsored the faith-based film “Big George Foreman,” produced by Affirm Films and Sony Pictures. This inspiring movie depicts the true story of George Foreman, the Heavy Weight Champion of the World, and his journey of redemption through the power of God.

Starring Khris Davis, Jasmine Mathews, John Magaro, Sullivan Jones, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Sonja Sohn, and Forest Whitaker, the movie portrays Foreman’s life from poverty to success, from near death to preaching God’s love.

George Foreman addressed Medi-Share in gratitude, “I would like to thank everyone at Medi-Share for supporting Big George Foreman”

As part of its mission to transform society through the Biblical model of sharing, Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share supported this sports-based movie about Jesus Christ’s work in the life of Foreman, hoping that it will encourage moviegoers to lean on Christ during their struggles. The story highlights the power of a praying mother and submission to the Lord’s will.

“George Foreman, who practiced the Biblical model of sharing by using his success to help others, is a testament to the transformational power of second chances,” shared Evelio Silvera, Vice-President of Communications and Government Affairs for Christian Care Ministry. “We are proud to partner with Collide Media and others on this movie with the shared goal of elevating stories in the media that draw viewers into a deeper relationship with Christ.”

Executives from Christian Care Ministry attended the Hollywood premier of Big George Foreman along with the cast, crew and Mr. Foreman. Medi-Share members, employees and members of the Medi-Share Pastors’ Alliance participated in giveaways for free tickets to view the movie across the country.
