Areus Asset Management becomes a signatory of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment

MANHATTAN, N.Y. - July 10, 2023 - PRLog -- Areus Asset Management is delighted to announce that we have become a signatory to the United Nations supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), the world's leading proponent for responsible investment with over 5,000 signatories from 135 countries representing USD $121 trillion AUM.

The PRI supports a global network of asset managers, owners and service providers to put responsible investment into practice. The six key principles which Areus will commit to aim to provide a framework for integrating environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) considerations into investment decision-making and ownership practices.

The six key principles implemented by Areus Asset Management are:

1. We will incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.
2. We will be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices.
3. We will seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.
4. We will promote acceptance and implementation of the principles within the investment industry.
5. We will work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the principles.
6. We will report on our activities and progress towards implementing the principles.
