Norman uses his experience with gang culture, teams, and business to gather ideal traits for cooperation and leadership. With a degree in Public Administration from Evergreen State College Tacoma he used his research and statistical skills to create a defined way of story telling to impart his message.

The King Manual Vol.1 is 15 chapters of short stories each emphasizing different virtues, lessons, or principle. At the end of each parable the author explains the main theme in plain non-esoteric language. Almost as if to take very weighty concepts and ideas and put them into a light but enjoyable read.
